Warriors Track Club Impressive in  800 Meter Time Trial

Our Warriors Youth Track Club ran its first 800 Meter race in the form of a time trial and all I could say over and over again was wow! Most of these kids have never gone for a run in their lives 2 months ago and now they look like pros out there! Excited to see what they will accomplish in the next few months of this season and the next few years as they prepare to enter High School Cross Country and Track in the near future. Some of our girls are already running times that would put them near or at varsity levels at many local high schools!  Miriam Velasco and Emma Arrendondo ran 2:46 and 2:47 for 800 meters or half mile! Both should have no problem breaking 6:00 for the full mile in a few weeks! Many others ran in the low 3's and all ran with tons of heart and enthusiasm! The boys  went out with grit and commitment! Zeth Arellano in his very first day with us ran 2:46 and we are excited to see what he does in the next few months with more training under him! There is still time to join this season! So don't delay we will take runners for the next 2 weeks before our official season opener! Check out the Video of the start below!
